STEP 01
CONCEPT DESIGN

My initial idea for this project was a VR application that simulates working in a fast-paced restaurant, making complex meals virtually through an Oculus headset and gloves
Due to time constraints and limited resources, my refined idea was an interactive sandwich counter game; simulating Oculus hardware functionality with the mouse and keypad
KEY OBJECTIVES:
EMBRACE 3D ENVIRONMENT
MAXIMIZE USER FREEDOM + CONTROL
GAME CHALLENGE ASPECT

STEP 02
MODEL VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT

I modeled my 3D environment using SketchUp, then imported it into Unity where I set the lighting and view angles
STEP 03
IMPORT TEXTURES AND ASSETS

I converted imported PNGs into materials on Unity, so that I could add color and texture to my virtual environment
For the interactive elements, I downloaded a "Sandwich Constructor" asset pack, which I then imported and placed into my Unity environment

CORE FUNCTIONALITY
DUPLICATE ON CLICK
DRAG + DROP STACKING
SWIPE ON ENTER
STEP 04
INTERACTIVE PROGRAM
For the gaming element, I input dynamic text that acted as sandwich orders, updating on completion. Additionally, I included a timer and sandwich counter to keep track of progress.
